In the project "Optimization of the load shifting potential of electric vehicles in cloud environments", which aims at the technical load shifting potential through intelligent charging management of electric vehicles, the foundation stone of the "Smart Energy Simulation Platform" is to be laid. Using efficient mathematical optimization methods, which also take into account the later enormous problem sizes, and using equally indispensable methods of high performance computing, the charging behavior of electric vehicles is to be optimally controlled, taking into account grid, vehicle and customer requirements.
